Exchange 2007 OWA stops working with reason=0 error after applying Rollup 6

Exchange Server 2007 Outlook Web Access might stop working after installing Rollup 6 which is available via the update service. Other areas affected are that exchange and world wide web publishing services will be set to disabled and therefore not started.

When trying to connect to OWA may receive a internet browser script error or a blank page with a URL simular to the below:

https://mail.domain.com/owa/auth/logon.aspx?url=https://mail.domain.com/owa/&reason=0

To resolve this, follow the below:

1) Open the ‘Service Manager’ and set all ‘Microsoft Exchange’, the ‘HTTP SSL’ service, the ‘IIS Admin Service’ and the ‘World Wide Web Publishing Service’ services to ‘Automatic’ and also start them.

2) Download and install ‘Rollup 6’ via the below link:

3) Reboot your Microsoft Exchange 2007 server if prompted to do so.

Everything should now be working again.
