How to display CLI (Caller ID) on outgoing calls when your number is automatically withheld

If your number is automatically withheld by your provider and you want to display your number when calling someone, simply dial 1470 before dialling your number.

This is very handy if friends and family won’t answer withheld numbers.

If that fails try either of the below combinations, as depending on your telephone/call provider it may vary.

1) As above, dial 1470 before your number

2) Dial 1280 before your number

3) Dial 12801470 before your number

Please beware that if you dial 1280 before any number, it will route your calls via BT, not your other call provider (if you don’t use BT), this could cost you more money on your phone calls.
